The relations of Colombia and China to have to continue being handled of aharmonious, efficient and suitable way. By means of a good design of strategies andrecommendations that allow the reinforcement of the commercial relations with thiscountry, Colombia would manage to be inserted of one more a more dynamic way in itsmarkets and the process of the globalisation. In this investigation I am used a type of descriptive investigation and explanatory andanalyses with respect to the commercial perspective of Colombia with China wererealised, giving rise to the design of recommendations for the evolution of thecommercial relations of Colombia with this country. This investigation provides athorough review of statistical sources and bibliographical references, shedding light onthe characteristics ofand the factors affecting bilateral commercial relations. It shows that,although China is an important supplier of goods to Colombia, exports to that countryremain below their potential, thus generating a huge commercial deficit.It also shows that Colombian exports to China focus on a limited number of productsand, given the size and potential of the Chinesecommercial negotiations with China for the purposeeconomy, Colombia shouldof signing a free trade athat would make it possible to increase trade betweenfinishes with a series of conclusions from the economicboth countries.
