This is the corporate social r... 展开 In modern business, in which the ethics of governance is placed on a high level of manyinternational leading business organizations, there is a concept whose importance is gaining agreater magnitude. This is the corporate social responsibility (CSR). Slowly and gradually theimplementation of corporate social policies starts in China. The application of CSR policies in acompany is an indirect provider of security and trust for the company's foreign partners andclients. Subject of study of this work represents the practical use of socially responsible policies in the management of listed companies in China and Hong Kong S.A.R. There are three majorhypotheses which were established at the beginning of the research. The first hypothesis claims that since the theory and application of CSR is new for the Chinese business only the largestand most internationalized companies, observed in this research will have implemented such policies. The second hypothesis claims that there will be a significant difference between the number of companies applying CSR policies in mainland China and Hong Kong S.A.R. Thelast hypothesis claims that the CSR practices undertaken the observed Chinese companieswill not differ from the most common CSR practices implemented in USA and Europe.The methodological strategies used in this study are based on theoretical analysis andinterpretation of existing events and phenomena in order to explain the reasons for the currentlevel of appliance of CSR policies in the observed companies' day to day business activities.Another methodological strategy is used on performing various business analyses in relation totheir CSR policies (so-called case studies). The performed research confirmed the first hypothesis and rejected the other two.The findings of the research show that the number of observed companies adopting CSRpolicies is still relatively low However, the companies which do provide such actions are usingcontem porary and even new practices of CSR policies. The introduction of such policies isinevitable part of the business development of the large Chinese companies. 收起
