This paper extends the definition of fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) proposed by Namias V by using other orthonormal bases for L2 (R) instead of Hermite-Ganssian functions.The new orthonormal basis is gained indirectly from multiresolution analysis and orthonormal wavelets. The so defined FRFT is called wavelets-fractional Fourier transform.

In recent papers by Brackx, Delanghe and Sommen, some fundamental higher dimensional distributions have been reconsidered in the framework of Clifford analysis,eventually leading to the introduction of four broad classes of new distributions in Euclidean space. In the current paper we continue the in-depth study of these distributions, more specifically the study of their behaviour in frequency space, thus extending classical results of harmonic analysis.

MATLAB is a very powerful engineering and practical software for data analysis and processing.It is very convenient to analyze and deal with it.This paper introduces how to collect the speech signal and voice signal acquisition in MATLAB environment,and analyze the MATLAB of speech signal processing by an example.The basic principle and basic process of texture image analysis based on Fourier transform spectrum are described by MATLAB simulation of sinusoidal texture image and spectral characteristic analysis of sinusoidal texture image.The program is written,and the spatial texture image with ideal sine distribution is obtained,and its spectral characteristics are analyzed.According to the defi nition of discrete Fourier transform DFT,a method of calculating the amplitude spectrum of discrete signal by DFT is deduced.The eff ectiveness of the method is verifi ed by MATLAB simulation.

Polarimetric optical fibre sensors have been embedded within the 0° ply and close to the 0/90 interface of transparent cross-ply GFRP coupons. The laminate ply cracks may initiate and propagate across the coupon when the coupons were subjected to an increasing quasi-static load in a servo-hydraulic testing machine.Crack accumulation have been monitored using a long gauge-length extensometer. The response of the strain signal, the optical signal and the load signal to cracks at different positions in the coupon in relation to the extensometer and optical sensor positions have been acquired and compared by means of video images of the crack growth. The relationship between crack growth and sensor response was demonstrated. The displacement induced by a new transverse crack has been predicted and compared with experimental data.
