Wheat-rice sequence proved more productive and remunerative and could be recommended for maximum profit under temperate Kashmir conditions. Wheat-pulse sequences, on the other hand, produced beneficial residual effect on succeeding wheat crop and resulted into more stability in soil fertility, particularly with respect to nitrogen. 收起
