Preparation of the titled compounds was achieved by reaction of N-(4-aminobenzylidene)-4-methoxy-6-methyl-l,3,5-triazin-2-amine [3] with aromatic/heteroaromatic aldehydes (4a-p)and ketones (5a-p). Among the compounds tested, (4d) was identified as the most active in vitro with MIC value 3.125 μg/mL against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv. 收起
