Incubation period ranged from 7-9 days in field co... 展开 Systematic studies on biology and immature stages of <i>Oxyrhachis rufescens</i> on <i>Prosopis spicigera</i> were carried out in the field at Chennai (Tamil Nadu) during 2003-04. Incubation period ranged from 7-9 days in field conditions. The total nymphal duration was 16-42 (26.2+or-7.28) days. There were five nymphal instars. The life cycle was 40-51 days under 25 to 29 degrees C and 65-75% RH, respectively. The average sex ratio of male:female was 1:3.5 and maximum ratio of 1:5.7 was observed in the month of September. 收起
