外国语学院始建于1999年,先后经历外语教学部、外语系,2006年4月成立外国语学院。除去大学外语教学外,学院还设有英语和德语两个本科专业,其中英语专业为山东建筑大学“重点学科”与“名校工程建设项目”。英语专业培养方向分为英语语言文学和建筑英语,2017年新增设跨境电商方向,2018年新增设翻译本地化方向。德语专业培养方向侧重经贸领域。2014年获得英语翻译硕士学位授权,设有笔译和口译两个领域;2017年增设德语翻译硕士笔译方向。学院现有教职工119人,其中教授4人,副教授42人,博士16人,在读博士13人,青年教师96%具有硕士学位。学院每年聘请英语和德语外籍教师6—7人。近几年来,教学方面成绩显著,多名教师获评2018年外研社“教学之星”、“教学能手”等荣誉。科研方面,学院教师主持国家社科基金一般课题2项,参与国家社科基金重点课题2项,主持教育部人文社科规划项目3项,主持山东省社科规划项目10余项,获山东省人文社科奖1项,山东省高等学校优秀教学成果奖3项及其他厅局级成果奖多项,近几年来,发表学术论文近200篇,其中CSSCI期刊论文20余篇。学院现有全日制研究生、本科生748人。其中,本科生678人,研究生70人。近年来,学院在人才培养方面异军突出:2018届毕业生考研录取率突破20%,毕业生综合就业率保持在92%以上;勇夺2018年“创青春”浙大双创杯全国大学生创业大赛全国铜奖;获得2017年山东省“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛银奖;获得2018年山东省“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛铜奖。另外,外院学子在“外研社杯”全国英语演讲比赛、全国大学生英语竞赛等重大比赛中历年来均保持优异成绩。国际合作与交流方面,学院与英国阿伯丁大学、朴茨茅斯大学,德国慕尼黑大学,美国弗吉尼亚卫斯理学院,马来西亚精英大学等国外数十所高校深入开展交流合作。每学期,均有数十名学生赴国外大学学习交流。2017年,外国语学院成功获批扩大办学自主权试点资格,成为学校三个落实和扩大办学自主权试点学院之一,由此进入新的发展阶段。学院依据扩大办学自主权实施方案,将努力打造“三中心两平台一空间”建设,即外语培训服务中心、翻译咨询服务中心、出国留学服务中心,普通话培训与测试平台、外文广播平台,外文创客空间。成立后的“三中心两平台一空间”,将围绕服务学生、服务教学,更好地丰富课堂及活动载体,打造校园文化品牌,同时加强大学生就业创业指导,完善服务体系,打造产学研合作发展新模式,为致力于培养具有国际视野、外语专业知识扎实、语言综合应用能力突出的高层次、复合式、应用型外语类专门人才而不懈奋斗!(注:数据统计截止到2019年9月9日) Introduction to Foreign Language School Foreign Languages School (FLS) was founded in 1999, with a sequential experience of the Office of Foreign Languages’ Teaching, Department of Foreign Languages, and Foreign Language School established in April 2006. In addition to English teaching for non-English majors, there are two undergraduate majors of English and German. English major is one of the "Key Disciplines" and "Elite Construction Projects" in Shandong Jianzhu University. The cultivating directions of English major are English Language and Literature and Architectural English. In 2017, a new direction of CBEC (Cross-Border Electronic Commerce) is added. The cultivating direction of German major focuses on the field of economy and trade. In 2014, FLS was authorized to set up MTI (Master of Translation and Interpreting) in English, which included translation and interpretation. In 2017, the school will have MTI in German, in the direction of translation.A t present, FLS has 119 full-time members in the teaching staff, including 4 professors, 42associate professors, 16 PhDs and 13 PhD candidates. 96% of young teachers hold a master's degree. FLS hires 6 to 7 foreign teachers in English or German each year. In recent years, our teachers have taken charge of two general topics of the National Social Science Fund, participated in two key topics of this fund, taken charge of three items of the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Project, as well as more than ten items in Shandong Social Science Planning Project. The teachers have gotten one award from Shandong Humanities and Social Science Award, three awards from Shandong Higher Education Outstanding Teaching Achievement, as well as other departmental-level awards. They have published nearly 200 academic papers, including more than 20 journal articles in CSSCI.In 2017, FLS is successfully approved to expand its pilot qualification for running schools, which makes it one of the three schools for implementing and expanding autonomy in Shandong Jianzhu University. Accordingly, FLS has entered a new stage of development. According to the plan of expanding the autonomy of running a school, the school will strive to build a project of "Three Centers, Two Platforms and One Space". “Three Centers” include service centers for foreign language training, translation consulting and overseas study. “Two Platforms” refer to the platforms for Mandarin training and testing and foreign language broadcasting. “One Space” is the space for foreign language maker. After the founding of this project, we will focus on serving students, aiding teaching, enriching the class and activity carriers and building cultural brand in campus. Meanwhile, we will strengthen employment guidance to students, improve service system and create a new mode for the cooperation of industry-university-research. Focusing on producing high-level, complex and practical students with international perspective, solid knowledge on foreign language and comprehensive application skills of language, the FLS will work hard with restless effort.(Note: Statistics by September 9, 2019) Die Kurzvorstellung des Instituts für Fremdsprachen Das Institut für Fremdsprachen kann auf die Gründung der Fremdsprachenabteilung im Jahr 1999 zurückgehen und wirkte danach als Fremdsprachenfakult?t, bis im April 2006 das Institut, das zur Zeit zwei Bachlorstudieng?nge Englisch und Deutsch besitzt, gegründet wurde.
