Emamectin benzoate treatment was significantly superior (5.0 & 4.8% shoot damage in <i>kharif</i> 2007 and 2008 trials, respectively) over diflubenzuron and <i>BtK</i>. It was followed by novaluron which exhibited 5.7 and 5.2 (59.6 & 51.2% reduction) % shoot damage in <i>kharif</i>, 2007 and 2008, respectively. The percentage mortality of larvae from the treatment was maximum in emamectin benzoate with a mean of 11.5; 11.4 and 12.3; 12.4% fruit damage on number and weight basis during <i>kharif</i>, 2007 and 2008, respectively. Novaluron significantly reduced fruit damage (53 & 54% reduction on number & weight basis, respectively). Maximum coccinellides population recorded in untreated control and <i>BtK</i> was 4.16, 3.22 and 3.74, 3.49 during two years, respectively, followed by emamectin benzoate and novaluron which recorded 2.24, 1.80 and 2.66, 2.58 during two years, respectively. The yield of healthy fruits in emamectin benzoate and novaluran treated plots were recorded to be 24.06, 23.14 and 20.46, 19.71 t ha<sup>-1</sup> during two seasons, respectively.
