Yield components and yield of rice were significa... 展开 A field experiment was conducted during the wet season of 1989 and 1990 to study the relative performance of different sources and levels of phosphorus on growth and yield of rice. Yield components and yield of rice were significantly influenced by phosphorus application in both the years irrespective of the source of P. Single basal application of mussoorie rock phosphate and single superphosphate in 1:1 ratio and split application of the latter 30 days after transplanting were equally effective inincreasing the yield attributes and yield. Sole application of any form of P fertiliser proved to be superior to their combined application with crop residues. Incorporation of crop residues a month before planting of rice did not have any significant influence on the growth and yield of rice. 收起
