One of its most important objectives is to create a network between all administrative units and research centres and to establish an independent European food safety authority. Further the complete control of all participants involved in the food chain from producer to consumer in the sense of a longitudinally integrated safety assurance is intended. Whereas the principles of risk management in the commercial food cycle are clearly laid down, the problems of consumers responsibility and human failure are not satisfactory solved. 收起
