The role that the technology upgrade plays in the sustainability of the dairy sector, employment and income in rural areas is discussed. The areas that require immediate action on the part of dairy entrepreneurs as well as possible interventions are outlined: management of animals and surroundings; personnel management; hygienic milking and animal care; and collection, cooling and storage at collection point and transportation. 收起
