The importance of gene effectsvaried with the season. Overall, additive, additive X dominance and additive X additive gene effects are important for the expression of seed weight. It is concluded that seed weight is governed by several genes acting additively, but the influence of dominance and epistatic effects cannot be ruled out. 收起
