Genotypes differed signific... 展开 Information on genotypic coefficients of variation (GCV), heritability (h2) and genetic advance (GA) is derived from data on 8 yield-related traits in 42 diverse genotypes of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata). Genotypes differed significantly for all the characters studied. Almost all the characters showed high heritability values. Plant height showed high genetic advance coupled with high h2 and GCV, indicating a preponderance of additive gene effects for this trait. Moderate GCV and GA estimates were observed for the other traits studied. 收起
