In conventional GSSK, all of antenna combinations are not used because of power-of-two form. To overcome this problem, we suggest to exploit spare antenna combination for cell-edge users (CEUs). Concurrently, we propose the search field based iterative maximum likelihood detector (SFMLD) to reduce the complexity at the receiver.
