Developed countries are transitioning from industrial economy to post-industrial economy and gradually to knowledge-based economy. The global economic models are shifting from “brown economy” to “green economy”. Today, more than ever, greening of development is defined as the approach to achieve sustainable development in the context of climate change. Being a developing country, Vietnam has been severely affected by the increasing impacts of climate change. The National Strategy for Green Growth and the National Strategy for Climate Change with vision towards 2045 which was passed and implemented has proven the determination of Vietnam to achieve sustainable development in the context of climate change by developing a green economy. 收起
