This report contains propellant test results from cartons of TP-H1011 bulk propellant representing LGM-30 F and G First Stage Minuteman Motors. This report uses a statistical approach to analyze the bulk carton propellant data. Testing was accomplished in accordance with MMWRM Project M82934CWNL17514. The data from this test period are combined with data from previous testing and entered into the G085 computer for storage, analysis and regression analysis. From the statistical analysis of all data tested to date (thirteen years for F and G), significant degradation of the propellant does not appear likely for at least two years past the oldest data point. Each point on the regression plot represents the mean of all samples at that particular age. The number of samples at each point is indicated on the sample size summary sheet on the page accompanying each regression plot or group of regression plots. The data range at any age can be found by suitable inquiry of the G085 system. (Author)

This report contains test results from LGM-30 F and G, Stage II and Stage III propellant. Data are shown in linear regression plots. The differences between polymers used in the propellant are shown in the composite plots for very low rate tensile, high rate tensile and stress relaxation data and are most evident in gradient stress relaxation modulus. Case liner bonds continue to show significant degradation although the rate of changes has slowed. (Author)

This report uses a statistical approach to analyze the bulk carton propellant data. Testing was accomplished in accordance with MMWRM Project M82934C-WNL17514. The data from this test period are combined with data from previous testing and entered into the G085 computer for storage, analysis and regression analysis. From the statistical analysis of all data tested to date (twelve and one half years for F and G), significant degradation of the propellant does not appear likely for at least two years past the oldest data point. Each point on the regression plot represents the mean of all samples at that particular age. The number of samples at each point is indicated on the sample size summary sheet on the page accompanying each regression plot or group of regression plots. Wind tunnel tests were conducted in the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel (4T) on a 0.06-scale model of the Minuteman Instrumented Payload Delivery System (MIPDS). Pressure distributions and force and moment data were obtained over a Mach number range from 0.5 to 1.3, at angles of attack from -6 to 24 deg, and at angles of roll from -180 to 165 deg. (Author)

This report contains propellant test results from cartons of TP-H1011 bulk propellant representing LGM-30 A and B First Stage Minuteman Motors. This report is the eleventh time that a statistical approach has been used to analyze First Stage bulk carton propellant. Testing was accomplished in accordance with MMEMP Project M72632-5MP116P. The purpose of testing was to determine and provide early warning of any serious degradation trends occurring in the propellant for service life predictions. An analysis of all parameters indicates that no potential problems are expected in the propellant for at least two years past the oldest data point. Data stored in the GO85 System were plotted utilizing the IBM 360-65 Computer and CAL-COMP Plotter. The data range at any age can be found by suitable inquiry of the GO 85 System. Each point on the regression plot represents the mean of all samples at that particular age. The number of specimens at each point is indicated on the sample size summary sheet accompanying each regression plot or group of regression plots. (Author)

This study is a preliminary search to determine if a relationship exists between Minuteman 3 Guidance System (NS-20) failures and the external environmental factors of temperature, wind speed, wind direction, humidity, and barometric pressure. Multiple regression analysis was used to determine what degree of relationship, if any, existed between NS-20 failures and several combinations of environmental factors. The search was extended to determine whether or not a relationship existed between external environmental factors and the failure of subcomponents of the NS-20, i.e., the Digital Computer Unit (DCU) and the Pendulous Integrating Gyroscopic Assembly (PIGA). Environmental conditions existing at the time of failure and prior to the time of failure were included.

This document reports the results of Electro-Interference tests performed on the Test Set, Multiplexer-Programmer, 10-21590-6B. The Test Set was tested to determine its degree of compliance to AF/BSD Exhibit 62-87, Electro-Interference Control Requirements for Minuteman (WS-133B). The Test Set measurements exceeded the limits of AF/BSD Exhibit 62-87 for conducted and radiated generation. Receiver Front End Rejection measurements exceeded the susceptibility limits of AF/BSD Exhibit 62-87. (Author)
