The enterprise is an open system, so according to the second law of thermodynamics and the dissipative structure theory, the enterprise has to require an influx of negative entropy from external sources by exchanging substances, energy and information with its external environment in order to become a system with low entropy. Negative entropy principle indicates information is negative entropy what suggests the enterprise should obtain more and more information from outside. But the fact does not support this principle, for example, information overburden has been a serious issue for the enterprise to deal with. This paper demonstrates the irrationality of negative entropy principle base on the basic definition of information entropy, and proves the possibility of information is positive entropy. The purpose of this paper is to make the enterprise pay much more attention to the management of information resources.

Based on the Prigogine formula and perspective of entropy change, it depicted the situation of innovation in the industrial groups, discussed characters of entropy change in different stages of industrial group, and indicated that survival of industrial group depends on negative entropy, evolution power of industrial group competition has its root in surplus of negative entropy, and key headspring for innovative advantage of industrial group bases on knowledge collaboration by inputting negative entropy.

This paper analyzes the relationship between the value of information and the amount of information by the basic concept of information entropy, demonstrates the irrationality of negative entropy principle, namely information also maybe do harm to the development of enterprises, and points out that the value of information lies on the quality of information not the quantity of information. So enterprises should pay much more attention to the management of information resources.

In this note, we briefly summarize our recent work on the entanglement entropy bound. In a quantumly entangled system, the non-negativity of the relative entropy leads to the entanglement entropy bound. When the entanglement entropy bound is saturated, a quantum system satisfies the thermodynamics-like law with an appropriately defined entanglement temperature. We show that the saturation of the entanglement entropy bound accounts for a universal feature of the entanglement temperature proportional to the inverse of the system size.

Concepts of Econophysics are usually used to solve problems related to uncertainty and nonlinear dynamics. The risk neutral probabilities play an important role in the theory of option pricing. The application of entropy in finance can be regarded as the extension of both information entropy and probability entropy. It can be an important tool in various financial issues such as risk measures, portfolio selection, option pricing and asset pricing. The classical approach of stock option pricing is based on Black-Scholes model, which relies on some restricted assumptions and contradicts with modern research in financial literature. The Black-Scholes model is governed by Geometric Brownian Motion and is based on stochastic calculus. It depends on two factors: no arbitrage, which implies the universe of risk-neutral probabilities and parameterization of risk-neutral probability by a reasonable stochastic process. Therefore, risk-neutral probabilities are vital in this framework. The Entropy Pricing Theory founded by Gulko represents an alternative approach of constructing risk-neutral probabilities without depending on stochastic calculus. Gulko applied Entropy Pricing Theory for pricing stock options and introduced an alternative framework of Black-Scholes model for pricing European stock options. In this paper we derive solutions of maximum entropy problems based on Tsallis, Weighted-Tsallis, Kaniadakis and Weighted-Kaniadakies entropies, in order to obtain risk-neutral densities.
