For primarily undergraduate institutions, institutional repositories can become effective tools for communicating and showcasing faculty and student research, facilitating open access initiatives, or supporting new scholarly communication practices. Choosing the right software platform is crucial to the success of a repository initiative. The literature suggests that there are only two or three software platforms heavily used in undergraduate libraries. This article aims to give a landscape of the repository platforms used in sixty-seven undergraduate libraries in the United States in late 2013; it also includes the results of a short survey about current institutional repository software platforms and users/administrators' satisfaction.

We prove existence of solutions for a new model of two compressible and partially miscible phase flow in porous media, applied to gas migration in an underground nuclear waste repository. This model, modeling fully and partially water saturated situations, consist of a coupled system of quasilinear parabolic partial differential equations. We seek a new set of variables in order to obtain a system which belongs to the class of equations considered by Alt and Luckhaus such that it would be possible to use their existence theorem. A Simulation of a numerical test case is performed in order to numerically demonstrate the ability of this model to take in account the appearance of one phase. To cite this article: E Sinai; C R. In 2019, the Michigan State University Libraries Map Library identified a collection of plat books published by W. W. Hixson as a good candidate for our digital repository. Published in the 1920s-1930s, the MSU Libraries collection of these plat books covers nearly every county in Michigan. In addition to adding the books to the digital repository, the Maps Librarian was very interested in adding the page-level township map metadata into the Big 10 Academic Alliance Geoportal. This presented the digital repository team with various challenges; mainly, how to parse book-level MARC metadata for the book as well as page-level metadata in spreadsheets into functional MODS and Dublin Core (DC) records. This paper details our decision process and workflows for handling the complexity of page- and book-level metadata in preparing the plat books not only for our local digital repository, but also for the consortial geoportal.

The comparison of Mono and Multi Repository structures is a highly debated topic in the software development field. Despite the choice of repository structure is the first main step in development; so far, this comparison has only been made on a small or local scale. Here, Mono and Multi Repository structures have been compared from different aspects using thousands of projects. First, an algorithm shared for collecting and identifying Mono and Multi Repository projects and save them into the database. Database was used for making different comparisons for example the usage intensity of both structure types over time, the developer's preference over structure type based on their country and so on. Also, all these comparisons have been made according to the team size and development period for each repository structure.

Empirical research on software development based on data obtained from project repositories and code forges is increasingly gaining attention in the software engineering research community. The studies in this area typically start by retrieving or monitoring some subset of data found in the repository or forge, and this data is later analyzed to find interesting patterns. However, retrieving information from these locations can be a challenging task Meta-repositories providing public information about software development are useful tools that can simplify and streamline the research process. Public data repositories that collect and clean the data from other project repositories or code forges can help ensure that research studies are based on good quality data. This paper provides some insight as to how these meta-repositories (sometimes called a "repository of repositories ", RoR) of data about open source projects should be used to help researchers. This paper describes in detail two of the most widely used collections of data about software development: FLOSSmole and FLOSSMetrics.

For a spent fuel repository, the possible application of the concepts of a multilayer repository with a two- or three-story disposal tunnel and a multicanister repository in which two or three canisters are emplaced in a deposition hole is assessed from the viewpoint of temperature, mechanical stability, and nuclear criticality. The results show that the concepts of multilayer and multicanister repositories are applicable to the geological repository without deterioration of the mechanical stability and nuclear criticality safety. Their adoption in the spent fuel repository can improve the disposal density up to 200% to 400% depending on the applied peak temperature limit under the given thermal constraint and site conditions.

Code repositories contain valuable information, which can be extracted, processed and synthesized into valuable information. It enabled developers to improve maintenance, increase code quality and understand software evolution, among other insights. Certain research has been made during the last years in this field. This paper presents a systematic mapping study to find, evaluate and investigate the mechanisms, methods and techniques used for the analysis of information from code repositories that allow the understanding of the evolution of software. Through this mapping study, we have identified the main information used as input for the analysis of code repositories (commit data and source code), as well as the most common methods and techniques of analysis (empirical/experimental and automatic). We believe the conducted research is useful for developers working on software development projects and seeking to improve maintenance and understand the evolution of software through the use and analysis of code repositories.
