The respondent... 展开 The present study was conducted in Jaipur district of Rajasthan. A sample of 240 respondents, consisting of 120 members of dairy co-operative societies and 120 non-members of dairy co-operative societies were drawn. The respondents for study group were selected randomly from 24 dairy cooperative societies of 12 selected randomly milk procurement routes. A control group of non-members were selected randomly for the comparative study. The data were collected with the help of face-to-face interview technique on a well structured and pre-tested schedule. The study indicated that majority of member and non-member respondents possessed medium extent of adoption. Whereas, 44.17 per cent members and only 04.17 per cent non-members were reported to have highextent of adoption about improved animal husbandry practices. The study further indicated that the extent of adoption in members was from 68.83 to 85.38 per cent, while in case of non-members it was found 30.38 to 45.56 per cent in all major four improved animal husbandry practices. 收起
