Analysis by qualitative and quantitative PCR-based method... 展开 This paper reports the results of a survey of the occurrence and concentration of a genetically modified (GM) soya and maize in processed foods sold commercially in Brazil. Analysis by qualitative and quantitative PCR-based methods showed 13% of the 100 soya products and 8% of maize products analysed in 2000 to contain GM material. In 2001, GM material was detected in 21% of soya products and 9% of maize products. Many of the products were shown to contain in excess of 4% GM material, the threshold level for GM labelling in Brazil, but none of these was labelled appropriately. 收起
