Interestingly only one out of 98 respondents 1.04% preferred beekeeping for his ward. A large proportion of respondents 41.67 %, however, left it to their children to decide themselves for their future occupation. More than 98 per cent beekeepers were satisfied with beekeeping profession. Majority of them 84-96% showed positive attitude towards women employment, education of girl, co-education and family planning. As many as 82-96 per cent were against female foeticide, alcoholism, smoking, drugs, dowry system and child labour and 80-96 per cent beekeepers Were in favour of interaction with schedule castes and their social, political and religious participation in the society.
