The goal of NextGen is to efficiently address the current and future challenges facing the U.S. air transportation system. The Verification and Validation (V&V) of the NextGen will require an environment and infrastructure for testing, modeling, and simulation throughout the development and implementation of NextGen capabilities that has not previously been used by the FAA. This article discusses the initiatives that the FAA is undertaking to establish new V&V capabilities and environments for NextGen. 收起
