Limnological studies were conducted during the October 2009 to Sept... 展开 The present investigation reveals physico-chemical properties of Hanabarwadi and Baleghol water reservoir from Kagal tahsil, district Kolhapur, Maharashtra state. Limnological studies were conducted during the October 2009 to September 2010 and various parameters like temperature, transparency, pH, electrical conductivity, free CO₂, total alkalinity, chlorides, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, nitrates, sulfates, phosphates and dissolved oxygen were analyzed from surface water of these two reservoirs. The physico-chemical parameters exhibited have considerable variations from sample to sample site wise. Results revealed that free CO₂ total alkalinity, hardness, chlorides and also dissolved oxygen significantly showed differences among sites. 收起
