In this paper we have calculated the link distance ofthe selected route and the reliability, cost check for the selection of the best route. This integrates routing decision of network layer with battery capacity estimation of MAC layer. For designing the new routing protocol, concept of the minimum hop scheme is considered. We propose Farthest Intermediate Link distance reliability cost (FILDRC) based cross layer route discovery for MANETS that improve the end-to-end throughput, delivery ratio and node energy consumption in MANETs. This approach also decreases the chance of loss of data because we have assured that battery capacity is not below the defined value. Analysis and Simulation are performed to study the performance of FJLDRC. 收起
