A wide range of aldehydes readily undergo condensation with 2-naphthol and 2-aminobenzothiazole to afford the desired products in high to excellent yields. This method has several advantages, for example simple procedure and easy work-up, short reaction times, and excellent yields. The catalyst could be recycled and reused without substantial reduction in its catalytic activity. 收起
