The use of products based on seaweeds is becoming more and more common in vegetable production in Poland. Therefore more studies are needed to investigate the influence of seaweed extracts on the yield but also on some quality parameters important both for growers and consumers. Three cultivars of broccoli: 'Monaco' F1 (Syngenta Seeds), 'Parthenon' F1 (Sakata) and 'Ironman' F1 (Monsanto) were used in this experiment. Seedlings were planted on the field when the plants had 3 to 4 leaves. Planting density was 40x64 cm. Goemar BM 86 2 L/ha was applied two times: the first time when plants started to grow after transplanting, the second time two weeks later. The quality of broccoli curds was evaluated by the content of dry matter determined by drying to constant weight at 105 degrees C. The macro- and micronutrients (potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc and iron) were determined. The application of physioactivators in the cultivation of broccoli increased the marketable and the first-class yield, as well as causing an increase in the average weight of broccoli curds. The use of Goemar BM 86 in the cultivation of broccoli limited the occurrence of hollow stem. The use of physioactivators increased the content of macro- and micronutrients in broccoli curds in both years of the study.
