But still few observers disagree with that China has made significant progress in its war on poverty since the launching of economic reform in the late 1970s.WorldBank has recognized that China in the three decades ever since the start of reform, more than 600million residents in China have escaped poverty. This paper attempts to study and compare the effectiveness of China's Poverty Alleviation Programs in contributing to economic growth and ultimately causing reduction in the poverty with Pakistan and India. In this paper China's poverty alleviation policy is described and then it is examined that how China have implemented one of the developing world's largest poverty alleviation programs. Although China's poverty alleviation programs do get implemented but the major concern is that there are many poor areas that have been left out of the government's various programs. This paper also tries to find poverty programs contribution to economic growth and economic growth promotion towards the poverty reduction. In the later of this research comparison is done in between the situation of economic growth and poverty alleviation in China, Pakistan and India. 收起
