In it I cover several points that are paramount to cover the issue. 1 found thatin the Colombian case ofS&ME (Small and Medium), they do not have the infrastructure or thepower to re-locate their production. That is why their benefits will be used to start with aprocess of internationalization looking for countries with certain characteristics. I present several hypotheses trough which managers probab use to enter to those countriesto assimilate their national cultures, and to gather knowledge of those markets. The factorsstudied in this paper deal with the management of different languages, the national culture, theeducational level, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), their internal development, and theirpolitical, legal, and economic systems (Johanson and Wiedersheim-Paul (1975), Kogut andSingh (1988), and Benito and Gripsrud(1992). 收起
