This report covers all aspects of the effort... 展开 The purpose of this project was to design, fabricate, calibrate, and field test a low-pressure impactor for sampling and size classifying particulate exhaust from jet engine test cells. This report covers all aspects of the effort through an actual field test on a J79 type engine exhaust. A computer code for user prediction of impactor stage outputs is included as well as design drawings for impactor fabrication.
