Nonetheless, the practical applicability of AABs ishampered by the occurrence of serious self-corrosion side reactions andsubstantial capacity loss, resulting in suboptimal anode utilization.Consequently, improving the anode utilization to facilitate the construction ofhigh-performance AABs have attracted widespread attention. Herein, thefundamentals and strategies to enhance aluminum anode utilization arereviewed from modifications of aluminum anodes and electrolytes. Thiscomprehensive review may provide a scientific tool for the development ofnovel AABs in the future. 收起
