The service mobility architecture is a novel communication paradigm and has the potential to offer the NSPs the powerful tools to achieve fine-gained service capacity control, energy saving, no disruption of communication and etc. Here, the key technology is virtual socket, named "socket chain". We introduce service mobility middleware including socket chain and API for client/server applications. A set of experimental evaluation reveals that the average processing delay which the session migration affects is small enough for the real-time applications. 收起
