This paper shows the study of the canvas approach to the profiles of team members. It has a qualitative character. The objective is to identification the professional profile that uses the canvas approach. The results relate 12 Canvas Models and its interaction with 6 consulted professional profiles. The main contribution is the identification of relar tions between the use of the tools and professional profiles. However, the sequence of use idealized by the Canvas creators is not followed by the professional in practice.

Browser fingerprinting refers to a collection of techniques used to gather information about a user's browser attributes. The information gained from a browser fingerprint can be used to partially or fully identify a user without using any other technique, e.g., cookies. One type of browser fingerprinting is canvas fingerprinting which utilizes HTML-canvas elements to identify users. Various defense algorithms against canvas fingerprinting have been developed, but unfortunately, have been shown to be penetrable and detectable. In this paper, we present Canvas Deceiver, a new countermeasure against canvas fingerprint. Canvas Deceiver is a browser extension that uses a new algorithm that is different from existing problem-possessing algorithms. Canvas Deceiver does not rely on randomness, does not provide a unique identity, and is not detectable. To show its functionality and effectiveness, we tested Canvas Deceiver using different tools that provide browser fingerprint tests. According to the test results, Canvas Deceiver outperforms current countermeasures in detectability while providing sufficient anonymity to its users. For instance, in Browserleaks, the user originally was put into a group with 634 people. After using Canvas Deceiver, he is put into a group with 7847 people.

Web tracking is currently recognized as one of the most important privacy threats on the Internet. Over the last years, many methodologies have been developed to uncover web trackers. Most of them are based on static code analysis and the use of predefined blacklists. However, our main hypothesis is that web tracking has started to use obfuscated programming, a transformation of code that renders previous detection methodologies ineffective and easy to evade. In this paper, we propose a new methodology based on dynamic code analysis that monitors the actual JavaScript calls made by the browser and compares them to the original source code of the website in order to detect obfuscated tracking. The main advantage of this approach is that detection cannot be evaded by code obfuscation. We applied this methodology to detect the use of canvas-font tracking and canvas fingerprinting on the top-10K most visited websites according to Alexa's ranking. Canvas-based tracking is a fingerprinting method based on JavaScript that uses the HTML5 canvas element to uniquely identify a user. Our results show that 10.44% of the top-10K websites use canvas-based tracking (canvas-font and canvas fingerprinting), while obfuscation was used in 2.25% of them. These results confirm our initial hypothesis that obfuscated programming in web tracking is already in use. Finally, we argue that canvas-based tracking can be more present in secondary pages than in the home page of websites.

We discuss how to better support practitioners in understanding, planning and executing their projects through visual guidance via e.g., canvases and diagram-based frameworks implemented as IT tools. Today, too many important aspects are overlooked during project development: opportunities to mitigate risks, innovation potentials and stakeholder alignment. We analyze whether a more holistic and integrated approach connecting different perspectives actually leads to new insights, relevant for a project's success. Based on our bespoke integrative analysis support, the case study indeed disclosed otherwise unaddressed important risks, that might lead to the project's failure if no mitigation strategies and new actions are introduced. This analysis stage is success critical, but often just gets done in a rudimentary fashion failing to reveal the most critical success factors, key actions and challenges. With missing benefits, it is obvious that it is often considered a waste of resources and left out altogether. To change this situation and standardize the analysis process in a customized way, we argue that adequate, advanced IT tool support is needed to better guide practitioners and integrate and aggregate the knowledge of the organization, teams and experts into a global organization-wide knowledge management infrastructure.

This Innovative Practice Work In Progress Paper will discuss the alignment and modification of three VALUE Rubrics: Critical Thinking, Writing and Problem Solving. Performance Criteria from Benchmark to Capstone are described and used to assess student work in engineering laboratory. Preliminary results from implementation of the rubric on a junior-level antenna design project will be presented. Based on faculty feedback, the rubrics are currently further simplified, modified and will be applied again this semester. Description of pilot project to implement modified Value rubrics in Canvas LMS Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) will be briefly discussed.
