Technological innovation is an important strategy of development for China National Petroleum Corporation ("CNPC"). In over twenty years since China's reform and opening, with the technological progress in four Five-year plans, CNPC has established a set of world-competitive technologies and a great deal of home-leading technologies in oil and gas exploration, development, refining and processing, besides, some new technologies are emerging. All of these provide a powerful technical guarantee for CNPC's sustainable development. This paper overall reviews the current technical status and prospects for the technical demands and the key technologies in future development for CNPC.

Technological innovation is an important strategy of development for China National Petroleum Corporation ("CNPC").
