To solve the optimization problem of SaaS infrastructure design, a methodology of minimizing financial cost is proposed based on BDIM. We firstly present an approach of calculating SaaS service availability. After that, in order to minimize the financial cost, an algorithm of seeking proper active and standby machines was given. At the end of this paper, the algorithm was applied to a SaaS platform, in this way we proved the efficiency of this algorithm.

We firstly present an approach of calculating SaaS service availability. After that, in order to minimize the financial cost, an algorithm of seeking proper active and standby machines was given. At the end of this paper, the algorithm was applied to a SaaS platform, in this way we proved the efficiency of this algorithm.

Cloud Computing has become more and more prevalent over the past few years, and we have seen the importance of Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS). This kind of service enables scaling of bandwidth, memory, computing power and storage. But the SLA in IaaS also faces complexity and variety. Users also consider the business of the service. To meet the most users requirements, a methodology for designing optimal SLA in IaaS from the business perspectives is proposed. This method is different from the conventional SLA design method, It not only focuses on service provider perspective, also from the customer to carry on the design. This methodology better captures the linkage between service provider and service client by considering minimizing the business loss originated from performance degradation and IT infrastructure failures and maximizing profits for service provider and clients. An optimal design in an IaaS model is provided and an example are analyzed to show this approach obtain higher profit.

Since services in cloud are interdependent. An infrastructure failure may cause a number of service interruptions and result in great business losses. In a word, incident management is critical in cloud environments. Traditional incident management concerns only IT performance but overlooks business performance. In this paper, an improved incident management process for cloud computing environments is proposed based on BDIM. Experimental result shows the new process improves the business performance of the cloud computing.

Therefore, it seems prudent to focus on a conceptual blueprint that will encourage research in developing pragmatic offerings in monitoring, measuring, and analyzing this relationship with the purpose of measuring generated business value. This paper proposes a monitoring framework that can be integrated into enterprise architecture and would address these issues.
