This paper studies the effects of cross-correlations between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise on the laser intensity in a saturation laser model. It derives the analytic expressions of the intensity correlation function C(Υ)and the associated relaxation time T(C) in the case of a stable locked phase resulting from the cross-correlation λq between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise.Based on numerical computations it finds that the presence of cross correlations between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise slow down the decay of intensity fluctuation,i.e.,it causes the increase of intensity fluctuation.

A new bridge functional as a function of indirect correlation function was proposed, which was basedon analysis on the asymptotic behavior of the Ornstein-Zernike (OZ) equation system and a series expansion whoserenormalization resulted in an adjustable parameter determined by the thermodynamics consistency condition. Theproposed bridge functional was tested by applying it to bulk hard sphere and hard core Yukawa fluid for the predictionof structure and thermodynamics properties based on the OZ equation. As an application, the present bridge functionalwas employed for non-uniform fluid of the above two kinds by means of the density functional theory methodology, theresulting density distribution profiles were in good agreement with the available computer simulation data.

In this paper we have studied the phased t U Hubbard model. Using the constrained path Monte Carlo method,we investigated the effects of phase factor on pairing correlation functions in the ground state, and we found that the long-range correlations are dependent on the choice of phase factor, and for some special values of phase factor there exist long-range pairing correlations only in the strong coupling region.

To study the structural and dynamical properties of a 2D dusty plasma lattice, a set of experiments were performed in an environment of radio frequency discharge. Based on the results of one of the experiments, pair correlation function, bond-orientational correlation function and mean square displacement of such a system were computed and analyzed. The bond-orientational correlation function is found to fit in with the law of e-r, and the mean square displacement is found to increase monotonously with time, both of which, together with the pair correlation function, indicate that the two-dimensional dusty plasma lattice formed in the experiment stayed in a "liquid" state.

By using the linear approximation method, the intensity correlation function and the intensity correlation time are calculated in a gain-noise model of a single-mode laser driven by colored cross-correlated pump noise and quantum noise, each of which is colored. We detect that, when the cross-correlation between both noises is negative, the behavior of the intensity correlation function C(t) versus time t, in addition to decreasing monotonously, also exhibits several other cases, such as one maximum, one minimum, and two extrema (one maximum and one minimum), i.e., some parameters of the noises can greatly change the dependence of the intensity correlation function upon time. The concept of correlation of Latin array is introduced and the generation problem of Latin arrays with independence degree ≥1 is discussed. A method is given to generate such Latin arrays, that is, shifting invertible Boolean vector functions with independence degree ≥1. Finally, a generation method of linearly independent invertible Boolean vector functions is given.

Based on the generalized Chirp-like sequences, the product technique is extensively used to construct a new family of spreading sequences, and its correlation property is verified. The results show that among the proposed sequences, there are subclasses of sequences with a zero-correlation zone, which can be used in quasisynchronous-code division multiple access systems.
