摘要 : A field experiment consisting four irrigation levels (CPE of 40 (I_1), 60 (I_2), 80 (I_3) and 100 (I_4) mm) as main plot treatments and four fertilizers levels as sub-plot treatments was conducted at Research Farm of the Departmen... 展开 A field experiment consisting four irrigation levels (CPE of 40 (I_1), 60 (I_2), 80 (I_3) and 100 (I_4) mm) as main plot treatments and four fertilizers levels as sub-plot treatments was conducted at Research Farm of the Department of Vegetable Science, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar during spring-summer season of 2003-04 under semi-arid sub-tropical conditions in sandy-loam soil. Thus, sixteen treatment combinations were replicated three times in a split-plot design. Plant height increased significantly with an increase of level of irrigation and fertilizers. Days to first picking were early as the irrigation and fertilizers levels were increased and earlier at I_1 (40 mm) and I_2 (60 mm). Weight of fruit (66.8 g), length, and diameterof fruit, number of fruits and fruit yield increased significantly with an increase in number of irrigation and fertilizers levels. Highest fruit yield was recorded at CPE of 40 mm irrigation level and 125: 62.5: 31.25 kg/ha NPK, which were 384.5 q and 351.9 q/ha, respectively. 收起
