Manufacturing is for economic stability, job creation and regional balance. The recognition is global, similar trends are followed elsewhere within the EU and USA. UK had a long and successful history of manufacturing, but experienced significant decline for several recent years. UK is still the 6th largest manufacturer by output in the World. This keynote addresses the current state of UK manufacturing, compares it with other leading countries and finally identifies three major approaches necessary to grow (or re-grow) the manufacturing activities within the country. 收起
