This study uses food consumption data from the USDA 1994-96 Continuing Survey of Food Intakes by Individuals (CSFII) to examine the African American diet, Foods consumed more frequently at breakfast, lunch and dinner were found to differ by region and income. These findings indicate that dietary guidance must consider evolving economic, social, cultural, environmental, and even ethnic changes within the African American community. 收起
