Leading bulk logistics company Mitchell has ended the risk of drivers heading out on the highway either over or under-loaded by installing a new 4m weighing platform at its Kewdale depot in Perth. The weighbridge, supplied by Elphinstone Weighing Systems, allows the drivers to get accurate readings of the loading on each axle group immediately after loading at BP Australia's Kewdale terminal next door and before they leave the depot. Previously, the Mitchell road trains which deliver fuel from BP to customers not only in the metropolitan area, but also as far afield as Port Hedland and the Goldfields, had to divert to a commercial weighbridge to check their loadings. 收起
