While helper virus-free RG systems were reported for orthoreoviruses in Kobayashi et al. (2007) and for orbiviruses in Boyce et al. (2008), it was only in Kanai et al. (2017) that RG for RVA became available . This achievement out-competed RG systems previously used for RVA which depended on co-infections with helper viruses (Komoto et al., 2006; Trask et al., 2010; Navarro et al., 2013; Mohanty et al., 2017). 收起
