摘要 : Chowoo, a new yellow gerbera (Gerbera hybrida [Gerbera sp.]) cultivar, was developed from the cross Sardana x Salina followed by seedling and line selections at the Flower Breeding Research Institute, Gyeongnam Agricultural Resear... 展开 Chowoo, a new yellow gerbera (Gerbera hybrida [Gerbera sp.]) cultivar, was developed from the cross Sardana x Salina followed by seedling and line selections at the Flower Breeding Research Institute, Gyeongnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services, Korea Republic, in 1999. Characteristics trials were conducted in 2001-02. Newly bred Chowoo showed yellow colour (RHS, 14-B), brown centre, semi-double type, and large flower. It also was in good harmony in ray floret colour and flower centre colour with stable flower shape. The vase life was 10.2 days. The average yield of Chowoo was 48.3 flowers per plant a year in greenhouse yield trails conducted in 2001-02. This cultivar was registered for commercialization in 2003. Chowoo would be cultured under greenhouse condition in Korea.. 收起
