摘要 : Research was carried out to investigate the growing and complex investment system of the EU at various levels of economic, social, political and cultural development, and sensibility of EU citizens to distribution and use of publi... 展开 Research was carried out to investigate the growing and complex investment system of the EU at various levels of economic, social, political and cultural development, and sensibility of EU citizens to distribution and use of public funds. The methodology used in Italy for a case study of regional development, preliminary observations and data collection, formulation of hypotheses, determination of development requirements, and results of participatory rural research are outlined. Data are tabulated on studies of the need for rural development in Sardinia, quality of olive in Abruzzi, vegetable and fruit markets in Basilicata, forestry activities in Veneto, milk quality in Emilia Romagna, and cereal production in Apulia. Results of studies on the effect of technical assistance are summarized for cereal production in the Tavoliere delle Puglie region. Case studies of the centre of ASSOFRUIT services in the Lucania region, improvement of the quality of olive in Abruzzi, and development of the forestry sector in Padua are considered. Results of monitoring studies of development needs in Parma, Padua, Uta, Foggia, Metaponto and Lanciano are presented. It is concluded that the studies allowed evaluation of economic and technical aspects of assisted regional development in relation to socio-cultural intervention and political actions of local governments. 收起
