Diagnoses of all the previously known species from India are given. Four species are redescribed and illustrated along with description and illustration of one new species (H. acuticercus) from western Uttar Pradesh. The characteristic feature of the new species is the presence of acute male cercus which makes it different from the other species. The finding of this study will be useful in making predictions about the relationships of this group and for accurate identifications of the species in the future. 收起
