High heritability coupled with high genetic advance as per cent of mean was observed for days to flowering, days to maturity, phenol content, plant height, number of pods per plant, number of inflorescences per plant, SLA 40 DAS, pod yield per plant and SLA 60 DAS in parents as well as F₁'s indicating predominance of additive gene action in field bean. 收起
