Terry Andrews, Pavement Technology WA manager, said the Derby-West Kimberley Shire gave the 1.5 million dollars project the go-ahead after attracting the majority of funds from government, topped up with the shire's internal reserves. "The project has been on the cards for a few years now and the Shire of Derby-West Kimberley is extremely happy with the work we did," Andrews said. "The official opening of the runway is September 4, exactly a month after practical completion and three months after we started." 收起
