The transmitters being in the receptors neighbourhood constitute electromagnetic environment to design the electromagnetic compatible appliances means firstly that the designed appliances do not excessively pollute the electromagnetic environment, and secondly that these appliances are not vulnerable receptors of disturbances from this environment.
