Under conditions of the thermogradient fie... 展开 The growth and energetics of juvenile sterlet Acipenser ruthenus were investigated under constant temperature which was optimum for growth and under thermogradient depending on satiation. Under conditions of the thermogradient field irrespective of the ration value, the fish energetics was optimized, use of the consumed food for growth increased, the energy expenditure decreased, the value of unused energy decreased, and expenditure of oxygen per gain of weight unit decreased. The increase in efficiency of the use of food for growth was especially high, as was the decrease in the value of unused energy at the ration equal to a quarter of the satiating ration. Motor activity of fish increased with the decreasing ration. It was higher in the fish in the gradient field than under the constant temperature. 收起
