However, the pathogenesis of this disease is not fully understood. Few Studies have reported the role of MicroRNA (miRNA), which is deregulated or altered in many diseases. Further, few pathways linked genes which have been suggested to be regulated by miRNAs, may play an important role in the regulation of glucose homeostasis and eventually may contribute to the establishment of DR. However, the roles of microRNAs (miRNAs) in DR are still not very clear. In current review, we explored various findings of scientific database demonstrating the role of miRNA in the progression and development of Diabetic Retinopathy. 收起
