The team has been particularly passionate about this space and are excited to be contributing to such an interesting area.In late 2020, we were beginning to research ways to increase the chance of recovery of beehives after they had been stolen. Our experience suggested that this was a growing problem in Australia, and that we might be heading down a path like in the UnitedStates, New Zealand and Europe, where hive theft is becoming a really difficult issue, with many beekeepers suffering major losses due to thieves. This has been exacerbated by the increase value of beehives with high value honey and the steep upward climb of costs for pollination services. 收起
