Methods: 20 participants were selected according to the standard diagnosis criteria ofasthma, and in the course of an acute attack. Pulmonary function test and wheezingconditions were investigated and its improvement was measured at 5, 15 and 30 minutespost-inhalation of symbicort with 2puff. Results: Inhalation therapy with Symbicort, it's taking effect within 30 minutes in allcases. Lung function was improved, bronchial dilation test was positive, and it reducedthe wheezing sound over lung after inhalation of the drug. In 20 children, 15 casesshowed Symbicort taking effect within 5 minutes, their lung function test improved&bronchial dilation test were positive but it's taking effect within 15 minutes in the other5 cases, their lung function test improved & bronchial dilation test were positive aswell. Conclusion: The Symbicort can be used as maintenance and reliever inhalation therapyin children with acute exacerbations of bronchial asthma. 收起
